The Publishing House of the Oil and Gas Institute - National Research Institute (INiG – PIB) consists of:
- "Nafta-Gaz" Journal, published monthly continuously since 1945 – initially as "Nafta" and later as "Nafta-Gaz"
- monographs "Scientific Works of the Oil and Gas Institute - National Research Institute" ("Prace Naukowe Instytutu Nafty I Gazu – Państwowego Instytutu Badawczego" in Polish) , issued since 1950 (works from 2014 to 2016 are available in open access mode at the website and other works from 2017 and 2018 are currently available for sale.
- special publications, dictionaries, lexicons, and yearbooks, including the annual report "The Polish Oil and Gas Market".
All INiG – PIB publications are implemented in terms of their use in the Polish industry in the exploration, extraction, exploitation and transport of hydrocarbons. An important feature of the INiG – PIB publishing house is to focus primarily on the specificity of hydrocarbon exploration and production in Poland and topics related to all activities related to oil and natural gas, as well as related disciplines, including exploration and exploitation of hydrocarbon deposits, through the storage, transport, distribution and use of natural gas, crude oil and petroleum products, to the development and improvement of liquid fuel production technologies.
In all these areas, the Oil and Gas Institute – National Research Institute can boast of numerous patents – including international ones - and many awards received at domestic and foreign inventions exhibitions for innovative solutions for the exploration and production industry related to oil and natural gas.
