INiG – PIB publishes the "Nafta-Gaz" Journal and Scientific Works of the Oil and Gas Institute - National Research Institute ("Prace Naukowe Instytutu Nafty I Gazu – Państwowego Instytutu Badawczego") and specialist publications, in which the latest scientific achievements and technological solutions regarding the oil and gas sector in the field of hydrocarbon exploration and exploitation – primarily in Poland are presented. In addition, INiG – PIB also publishes industry-specific special publications: dictionaries, lexicons and yearbooks. All publications of INiG – PIB (except for the yearbook, which is a popular science magazine) are peer-reviewed.
Scientific articles presented in the "Nafta-Gaz" journal and subsequent editions of "Prace Naukowe Instytutu Nafty I Gazu – Państwowego Instytutu Badawczego " are available in both traditional (printed) and electronic form. In the case of "Prace Naukowe ", these are in particular: scientific monographs (copyright, co-authorship, multi-author), habilitation and doctoral dissertations, scientific articles within compact publications, and other scientific works.
The authors of scientific articles and "Scientific Papers" and special publications (dictionaries, lexicons, yearbooks) addressed to the INiG publishing house - PIB are primarily academic staff of the Institute and experts from other scientific centers in the country and abroad specializing in areas and fields related to the profile publishing activity of INiG - PIB. It is imperative to emphasize here the leading role of research workers of INiG - PIB, which provide strong support to Polish oil and gas companies in many mining and production projects.
